Since its 2018 debut, Bluey has become the world’s most streamed show and a Gen-Z phenomenon driven by viral clips. Its broad appeal and short episodes make it a valuable teaching tool for economics, as characters frequently make relatable choices under constraints. Building on Quinn, Day, and Shifflett (2025), we adapt Bluey for university instruction. We present three lessons using specific episodes to explain market efficiency and welfare (“Granny Mobile”), the circular flow of income (“Markets”), and GDP measurement (“Calypso”).
